Cat Litter Scoop

I used this for my cat’s litter box and wasn’t sure about it the first time. It felt a bit messy when I used it bare-handed, and I didn’t think I would keep using it. This is a very sturdy, large litter scoop. It has a deep chamber that can hold about a day’s worth of waste from my four cats. The chamber is close to eight inches deep, with an opening measuring roughly seven inches long and four inches wide.The scoop is made of hard plastic. The only flexible part is at the top of the handle (marked with a triangle), which you pull to release the top and free the bag.The scoop portion has holes wide enough to allow clean litter to fall through, but not large enough to let clumps slip by. It measures about 6½ inches wide and features a swinging flap that prevents waste from flowing back out.It comes with four boxes containing 15 baggies each. The bags are easy to pull out individually and have a light, powdery scent. It’s pretty easy to assemble!You can easily rinse the scoop with a hose and let it air dry.Overall, I prefer this over traditional scoops because it helps complete the job faster and with less mess. The price feels justified by the quality and performance.

I ordered this because I have a pretty large cat and I clean his 2 litter boxes everyday. He poops and pees a lot, and it's hard to get the litter in the bag and not get my hands dirty, so when I saw this I was very excited to give it a try. When it arrived I immediately thought it was too big. It's easy to assemble, just stick the bag in and put the scoop on it. I had left the litter box dirty so I could try this and I'm really glad I did. When I got to the litter box still thinking it was too large I started to scoop and was pleasantly surprised that I was able to pick up all the poop and clumps in just a few passes. I did pick up too much litter but all I need to do is remember to shake the scoop a little, I was so excited by how easy it was to use that I forgot to shake. It was beyond easy to to clean the litter boxes and everything was bagged without my hands getting dirty. I was able to get the bag out of the scoop and into the garbage without getting my hands dirty at all. Everything feels well made, even the included bags so I think this will last a long time. The design is perfect, you scoop, shake and the litter ends up in the bag. It's around the price of other litter scoops, so I think it's a good value for the money considering it's the only scoop that almost guarantees clean hands. I'm happy I ordered this scoop and would definitely recommend it.

That saves time. Possibly more important is that it helps stretch the litter a bit longer between full changes = value for your money!. I also like that it feels sturdy; the handle doesn’t flex under weight, and it’s wide enough for multi-cat use (remember the three Maine Coons). After several days of scooping, I noticed far fewer stray bits of litter landing on the floor, which means less sweeping afterward.The included 60 odor-control bags have a light scent, not overwhelming and install easily inside the container. Each one fits snugly, so there’s no mess when tying them off and tossing them out.
